Leinster cut the gap on Conference A leaders Ulster with a comeback victory while Cardiff Blues began a new era by claiming bragging rights against Scarlets. There were also wins for Zebre, Munster and Ospreys on a busy weekend of Guinness PRO14 action. Here, we take a look at what was learned from each of the five fixtures which went ahead during round 11 of the competition. **Leinster know how to handle pressure** After suffering a shock loss to Connacht the previous weekend, Leinster were inconceivably staring down the barrel of a second successive home defeat after trailing Conference A leaders Ulster 9-5 at the break. But Leo Cullen's men showed why they are the reigning PRO14 champions. They recovered from a rusty, disjointed opening period to inflict a first defeat of the campaign on their rivals from Belfast. The 24-12 bonus-point win moves the Dubliners to within five points of Ulster and, with two games in hand, they could now justifiably claim to be favourites for top spot. Head coach Cullen would be forgiven for breathing a sigh of relief at the full-time whistle on Friday evening but he will no doubt take great heart from his side's resilience and ability to overcome adversity.
