Round 15 conjured up plenty of drama in the Guinness PRO14 as Glasgow Warriors and Cardiff Blues put on a 72-point thriller at Arms Park and Benetton edged out Scarlets. There were also four wins from four for the Irish provinces as Connacht defeated Toyota Cheetahs, Leinster overcame Zebre, Ulster downed Ospreys and Munster dispatched Isuzu Southern Kings. But who were the players who shone during the latest round of action? Here are the top three performers who racked up the points for Fantasy Rugby players. ALED SUMMERHILL (CARDIFF BLUES) – 22 POINTS Unsurprisingly, two of the three top performers both came from Glasgow Warriors’ remarkable 38-34 victory against Cardiff Blues in the final game of the round. Aled Summerhill bagged 22 Fantasy Rugby points after scoring a stunning hat-trick for the hosts, opening the scoring in the third minute as the Blues took an early lead. The 24-year-old added a second just before half-time to close the gap to 24-14 after Warriors had surged ahead, before completing his treble with six minutes left. PETER HORNE (GLASGOW WARRIORS) – 19 POINTS On the other side, Peter Horne was the star man for the visitors as the fly-half racked up 19 points after scoring Glasgow’s third try during a scintillating first-half display. He also showed incredible composure with the boot, converting all five tries for Warriors and adding a penalty to finish with an impressive individual points haul of 18. Horne orchestrated the Glasgow attack throughout the 80 minutes as the visitors kept up the pace with Munster at the top of Conference A with the bonus-point win. MAX DEEGAN (LEINSTER) – 20 POINTS Zebre showed plenty of fight against the defending Guinness PRO14 champions, but Leinster ultimately emerged triumphant in Italy with a convincing 40-24 win. And Max Deegan was the main man for the visitors as he opened the scoring on six minutes before completing the victory in the 78th minute with his second of the game. His two-try performance saw him finish with 20 points – a tally that will be sure to bring a smile to the faces of Fantasy Rugby players with him in their team.
