So, who exactly is sitting top of the pile? **1. RHYNO SMITH – TOYOTA CHEETAHS (10)** The 27-year-old has been the season’s one to watch after racing out of the traps in the early rounds. Smith’s performances have maintained the Cheetahs charge for a top-three place. In addition to his ten tries he appears in the top ten for the most clean breaks (18), assists (4), defenders beaten (49), metres gained (742) and carries (121). With no tries in his last three outings, Smith is experience a mini-drought – but it hasn’t stopped him maintaining top spot at this stage of the campaign.
