After defeat at home to the Isuzu Southern Kings last time out, Ospreys boss Allen Clarke admitted his side were going through a ‘dark period’. There does not appear to be much light at the end of the tunnel with European powerhouses Munster coming to town this weekend. But the Welsh region battled hard last season to get back to Europe’s top table, and will be desperate to make the most of their chance now it is here. They are in a packed pool, that includes defending champions Saracens, perennial contenders Racing 92 and of course Munster so winning their home games will be vital – starting with this weekend.
